📢 Types of information available on the Digital Cards
Hey there Legends,
Even after the last blog post (*All about LCK LEGENDARIES) was updated, many of you still have questions about our service.
In this post, we will provide more detailed information about what kind of information is included in the digital cards revealed in LCK LEGENDARIES.
What information is included in the digital cards?
The digital cards include a memorable gameplay moment, known as a HIGHLIGHT, the player's photo, name, team affiliation, position, champion name, and match information such as season, date, opponent team, set score, and an OVR score on the front and back of the card. When the card is opened, the HIGHLIGHT is vividly replayed.
The digital card contains the player's photo, game footage, and detailed match information about the scene, allowing you to own these attractive things simultaneously.
What is OVR (Overall)?
OVR is a measure of the rarity and value of the card, assigned to each card as an analysis score/ability value. The OVR is determined based on a player's season performance and the play quality of the HIGHLIGHT.
How is OVR determined?
For each player, scores for 6 stats are determined based on season metrics, and the weight of each stat is applied based on the player's position to determine the "player OVR." The weight based on the play quality of each HIGHLIGHT is added to the "player OVR" to determine the final "card OVR" displayed on the digital card.
* Former esports professionals directly participated in determining the OVR and selecting HIGHLIGHT.
Specific OVR Composition Stats
- Mechanics: Refers to a player's ability to perform in combat situations. It is assessed by considering overall control and CS acquisition abilities during typical combat situations.
- Understanding: While Mechanics is a more combat-focused stat, Understanding refers to a player's game management abilities in a wider sense. It can include participation and contribution to battles and kills and a vision score.
- Laning Phase: Refers to a player's ability to perform in the Laning Phase. Top lane players typically require more of this ability than other positions. Combat and solo kill metrics in 1v1 or 1vX situations and metrics related to CS acquisition are essential.
- Carry Potential: Refers to a player's ability to excel in decisive large-scale battles that determine the game's outcome. It is important to consider how efficiently a player can grow until decisive battles occur in the mid to late game, as well as metrics related to crushing the opponent in decisive multiple-versus-multiple battles.
- Versatile: Refers to a player's strategic flexibility. The ability to handle unexpected situations and adapt to the opponent's unpredictable plays is essential. Even if a player performs well by selecting a specific champion and adhering to a predetermined strategy, scoring high in this stat is only possible if they can use other champions well or only one strategy.
- Mentality: Refers to a player's ability to play consistently and without fluctuations. This is evaluated by comprehensively assessing metrics that indicate how well a player has handled a season and how stable they played during a single game without significant fluctuations.
What is your favorite memorable HIGHLIGHT in LCK history? You may be curious about what scene will be made into a digital card and what OVR it will receive. Please wait until the official opening of "LCK LEGENDARIES" in June. Until then, we will solve your curiosity one by one here.
Thank you.
