Hey there, Legends!

🐤Quacky here, your fresh source of all things LCK on the LEGENDARIES blog. I'm thrilled to be your guide through the thrilling world of LCK, where I'll be sharing a treasure trove of information and shining a spotlight on some of the most exciting highlights from the games. So buckle up and join me on this epic journey!

Do you own a card of your favorite player? LEGENDARIES player cards are filled with a wealth of information. Here's a sneak peek into what they offer :

On the front of the card, you'll see the OVR, player info, position, card tier, playtype, and match information.

OVR (overall) is a unique analytical score assigned to each card, reflecting the player's performance throughout the season and the quality of their 'highlight' plays.

The cards are categorized into FOUR tiers based on the OVR score: Legendary, Super rare, Rare, and Common.

Now, LCK matches are a complex dance of strategies and situations. To help you make sense of the chaos, we've broken down the game into six distinct Playtypes.

Here are the types and definitions of Playtypes:

Playtype Definitions

Skirmish

The small-scale battles where two or more players lock horns in a brief, intense combat. Skirmishes often occur during the early laning phase and can involve ganking, roaming, turret dive, and bot 2v2 situations.

Solo kill

This is when a player eliminates an opponent in a 1v1 situation. It usually happens during the laning phase, but it can also occur during the mid to late game when managing the side lanes.

Playmaking

This refers to plays that disrupt the opposing team or provide an advantage to teammates. Examples include initiating team fights, saving or assisting teammates, and exploiting the enemy's vision or weaknesses to secure kills.

Teamfight

This refers to large-scale battles where most or all of the team participates, usually 4v4 or more. It also includes objective fights over resources.

Steal

This is when a player steals a neutral monster or objective from the enemy team. For example, if the enemy team is trying to kill the dragon and your team successfully steals it, your team gets the dragon buff and can disrupt the enemy's plans. Stealing requires precise timing and skill, as well as strategic communication and coordination with teammates.

Ending

This is the end of the game, when the final teamfight has concluded and the Nexus is ultimately destroyed.
